‘The Indian Bride’ starts at JW Marriott

Chandigarh: ‘The Indian Bride’ kicked off at JW Marriott, Sector 35B, Chandigarh today, showcasing more than 50 designers and labels from across India. Its hallmark is celeb designer Vidhi, whose exquisite collections are a great centre of attraction for city denizens. The exhibition is continue on December 26-27, 2021 from 10:30 am till 8:30 pm.

Vidhi, a renowned celeb designer and the founder of ‘Humming Way Atelier’, has her clients in Bollywood like actor Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Rakul Preet, Soha Ali Khan and Kajal Agrawal. She is present with her exquisite collections of Indian festive pieces.

Gujarat Hast Kala is displaying traditional Gujarat based handcrafted products. A multi-designer platform is bringing enticing collections of designers from Pakistan, Muscat, Bahrain and Middle East. BW

Chandigarh: A free limbs camp - Ek Haath Aasha Ka, will be held at the Block 9 of Chandigarh University located on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh Highway (NH 95) in Punjab on 14 th November, 2021 under the aegis of Rotary club Chandigarh Central in association of Rotary Club Poona Downtown, District Rotract Organisation. A poster of the event was unveiled today by farmers leader Balbir Singh Rajyewal. Ashish Midha, President, Rotary Club Chandigarh Central said, “The free limbs camp will be organized for the children above 10 years of age and elders, who have lost their hands in some accident. We will provide light, durable and functional prosthetic hands to the needy people. The US made prosthetic hands, weighing 400 gram only, can be fitted below the elbow.
