Mohali: In an Endeavour to create a benchmark of environment-friendly constructions in the real estate industry of tricity & reduce the impact of climate change, Riverdale Aerovista, a renowned real estate group has envisaged a first of its kind 'Environment-Friendly' township in Chandigarh capital region.

Riverdale Aerovista has announced the completion of the 3rd phase of the eco-friendly residential project, ideally located off international airport road, next to Aerocity in Mohali. Once the 4th and final phase is unveiled next month, the establishment will become the first gated township adjoining the famous Aerocity. This will provide it another 'First', apart from the sobriquet of tricity's first true ‘Environment-Friendly Township'.

Sanjeev Jindal, CEO of Riverdale Group said, “Amid the rapid urbanization & growing demands of energy, building a green township is not a choice but the group's commitment towards society. Keeping this vision in mind, we are introducing a 'Green Township', which will promote efficiency with regard to the use of water, energy, and materials.” He underlined that the township will also reduce the negative impact of pollution on an individual’s health and provide a cleaner environment through better design, construction, operations and maintenance.

Sharing the details of project, Col Inderjeet Kumar, President, Strategic Planning & Corporate Relations, Riverdale Aerovista Group said, “For water management, we have set up a Rainwater Harvesting system which helps in recharging the groundwater, we have a Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) and the sewage water is scientifically treated and re-used for the garden areas. Composting is also done & wet waste is converted effectively into manure. The township is equipped with LED lights, which increases energy efficiency significantly. In view of future demands, we are also planning to set up an Electric Vehicles (EV) charging station for cars.”

The township is a property hunter’s delight. It just offers the bouquet one is looking for while searching for one's dream house or an affordable commercial place. Riverdale Aerovista has on offer plots of varying sizes, ready to move in 2+1, 3 BHK, 3BHK with multi-utility additional room with attached washroom, with a plan to also create free hold premium duplex villas with servant accommodation. What's more, front & rear courtyard & lawns are attracting a lot of attention from property seekers, particularly from those who wish to have nothing less than perfect! The township has also catered for kitchen gardens for a select few dwellings.

The township is a marvel of engineering. Underground electric cables & beautiful Maple street lights make it a cynosure of all eyes. A beautifully designed Shopping Arcade at the very entrance, a world-class clubhouse with enviable facilities & amenities provide an icing on the cake. With 2 tier- security, Riverdale Aerovista also offers exquisite and the 1st ever Spanish architecture 'Neoclassical' style villas to clients. Excellent exteriors and elegant interiors to provide a better lifestyle and living standards  with its ‘Ready to Move-In options  for the end-users.

Sanjeev Jindal further said "We have another important business cornerstone. Our vision is to provide high-end luxury which is naturally high on quality but at the same time is reasonably priced. Affordability is certainly our set up's USP." Added Col lnderjeet Kumar, "The project focuses on efficient energy management and low water consumption and has engineering systems in place which will lead to lesser waste materials."

It’s noteworthy that Riverdale Aerovista's project has been created by adhering to environmental concerns. The project is based on the principle of preserving natural resources from rapid depletion. The model could be emulated by the real estate industry and help in moving the sector from 'pure concretization' to the 'green constructions' concept.
