Actor Shreyas Talpade recommends ‘Heroes Amongst Us’


Hugely inspired by the stories about people who dared to take the first step in order to realize their passions against all odds. This is what Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade has said about “Heroes Amongst Us”, a book authored by renowned Personal Branding Coach Dr Amit Nagpal.

Another Bollywood actor and producer, Sanjay Suri commented, “A seed has a possibility of a forest; we all have that seed in us. All the stories are of people who took that first step and found themselves living their own dreams.”The book is about dreams, passion and achievements. Dr Anurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, BusinessWorld, says, “Over 30 doesr, dreamers, achievers, creators and digital innovators tell their stories that inspire and teach precious lessons for life. Speaking about the content of the book, Dr Amit Nagpal said, “What’s common between a business executive, film director, advertising guru, stand-up comedian, prison reformer, Mrs Earth winner and a social media expert? They are all ordinary people with extraordinary life stories. Heroes Amongst Us takes you along the inspirational life stories of 32 such ordinary people who achieved extraordinary success.”

The book was released here at Chandigarh Press Club by Bhikkhu Sanghasena, a renowned Buddhist monk from Ladakh. Dr Nagpal is also the founder president of BloggersAlliance, an association of bloggers, storytellers and creators.

Performed poetry marks the formal launch of poetry book ‘Uns’

Chandigarh:  Nisha Luthra, a Chandigarh based theatre director and founder of The Narrators, a performing arts society, has penned her maiden book of poetry - 'Uns.' 'Uns' was formally and very uniquely unveiled through a 'performed poetry' presentation at the world famous Rock Garden. A music and dance recital was showcased as part of the performed poetry presentation by city based contemporary dance artiste Puneet Jewandah and Bharatnatyam virtuoso Varun Khanna to the accompaniment of  live tabla and violin.
